Paige! Jarrett!!
Oh. What. A. Night.
I don't even know where to begin with this one.
Paige, I think I met you when you were my daughter's age, around 7. I have known your dad since before I spoke English when my parents bought the house next to your parents in the early '80s. Your dad and I have never spent as much time together as he or I would want, but the daughterS of my brother from another mother have always had a special place in my heart.
When I heard that his baby was getting married and was looking for a DJ, I knew that I had to be the one to help make your once in a lifetime celebration the absolute best possible wedding that any of your guests had ever been to.
I cried during the daddy-daughter dance, but not as much as your dad, LOL.
Jarrett, when you shared your dances with your parents, it was just as emotional to me as I pictured my wife dancing with our son and myself dancing with my own daughter at their weddings.
Here's where I tell my brides and my grooms that I hope that our paths cross again in the future, but I know for a fact that we will see each other again in the future.
From a professional point of view, you guys were no different than any other couple I have the honor of being aDJ for.
From a personal point of view, it was truly amazing.
Every wedding is special.
Every wedding is different.
And most importantly, I hope I am able to make every wedding celebration unique and the best wedding anybody has ever been to.
I only hope that all of your guests that traveled from far distances enjoyed themselves celebrating the beginning of the next chapter of your lives.
Jarrett, even though I am not part of the family, I welcome you to the family!
Congratulations and may the music never stop.
