June has been good to me - head down and doing the things that give life to my spirit. Face in the sun. Two breakfasts. Barefoot in the woods.
We have bouquet subscriptions in full swing. The first wedding of the season in the books.
School year is complete for my two oldest daughters. We are ready for a loooong calm slow warm watery summer.

Find me tomorrow at the AVA Collective
Summer Artisan Market at Larkin Square from 11 to 5
Many good vendors ~ makers and food. I'll be there with apothecary products and bouquets! Now you know what my face looks like so you can find me. Say hi!

This type writer has been with me for a decade- but I've been using one to write since I first picked up a Smith-Corona when I was in 8th grade. Some old barn or schoolhouse turned antique/rummage spot...somewhere... out on a drive. I'm confident my mother would know. Some of the best things arise by spontaneous chance like that- finding that place, and that gem (along with some 70s tie and a vintage yellow suitcase thats scratched to s**t now but still packed full of old writing.)

This green one was a gift from Daniel and it came to me from Poland. It has yet to let me down. All typewriters have their quirks.. like the way I have to hold down the upper bar to type on narrow things like labels for apothecary items, otherwise the paper will shift and go all crooked. Many lost labels, wasted even you might say, typing them like this... I tend to come upon human error --rushed ferver typing will sometimes cause this, but it's the way I've been doing it since the start. Its how I keep it personal. I do consider printing the labels completely and forgoing this aspect but that day is not today.

Captured the moments ☆

Should I stop wasting labels on error for the sake of this special touch and just print full ones?
