That pastel, fluffy, just-picked-from-a-dream vibe? Freaking perfection.

But let’s be real, the energy in these photos? That’s all YOU.

THIS is how you do personal freaking florals!!!

Liz and Andy love Legos. Like REALLY love them.

So when it came time to build her dream bouquet, Liz literally did just that...with hand-crafted Lego blooms tucked right into the floral mix.

This bouquet didn’t just match the color palette. It matched the couple.

Whimsy.
Creativity.
Pure joy.

It was a celebration of who they are, what they love, and how they play.

And THAT is the energy we’re bringing into every effing custom floral moment we create.

She’s beauty, she’s grace…

She’s covered in hydrangeas and parked in a damn field.

For the “Thunder Only Happens When It’s Raining” shoot, I got to flower the entire side of this vintage VW van.

And YES, that meant climbing on top of it. No regrets.

If you give me a surface, I can flower it.

Ceremony arches? Obviously.
Bars? Let’s go.
A classic van that deserves a moment? You know I’m in.

Florals aren’t just the finishing touch.

They’re the freaking FEELING.

And I’ll keep finding new ways to bring that magic to life.

Michaela and Anthony said I do with salt in the air, sun on their backs, and that steamy, sunkissed kind of love that feels straight out of a summer movie.

Clean lines.
Crisp tailoring.
Flowers that brought the heat.

Michaela’s bouquet was a textural DREAM with trailing greenery that moved like sea foam on the breeze.

And the ceremony install? SHUT UP!!!

A shoreline floral explosion in citrusy peach, coral, soft apricot, and blush.

We matched the vibes to the view, baby.

July on the Jersey shore never looked so damn good.

The chemistry, the color, the charm...

Mairead and Ben were just freaking perfection.

From the moment these two stepped into the library, it felt like a modern-day love story written in bold ink and wild blooms.

Mairead’s bouquet was drama and romance in full bloom...

Deep plum anemones, vivid blue delphinium, creamy garden roses, and the kind of texture that makes you stop in your tracks.

And that boutonniere on Ben? A tiny explosion of color and contrast...bright orange rose, inky scabiosa, wisps of blue thistle, and tendrils of greenery that practically danced.

It’s moody, it’s modern, it’s magic.

Damn good stuff for a January wedding.

And Mairead’s radiant joy? The gal is ike a walking exclamation point!!!

What a good freaking day this was.

Josh’s boutonniere sure as hell made a statement...

Just like the rest of this smoldering, UK-weather-core kind of day.

A three-piece suit straight out of Peaky Blinders.

A fiery orange pop with that rose.

Rust-toned amaranthus, deep eggplant foliage, and golden seed heads for texture.

The whole thing feels like a BBC mystery, sharp and sexy.

And yes, we were back at Greenville Country Club, one of our all-time favorite venues for layering romance, depth, and just the right amount of drama into the day.

Because this bridesmaid walked into Beau + Bart’s reception and said I am THE freaking moment!!!

Serving sass, strut, and straight-up icon status, she twirled that bouquet like a feathered mic drop and never looked back.

Let’s talk about this bouquet, shall we?

A sultry clutch of white orchids, ivory roses, and bleached foliage, finished with dramatic white feathers that flirt with every photo.

It’s equal parts vintage cabaret and modern femme fatale...and yes, it moved like a dream on the dance floor.

We’re not here to do “basic bridesmaid.”

We’re here to design bouquets that bring the damn energy.

Not all altars look like altars.

Sometimes they look like fireplaces.

And when they do? You flower the HELL out of them.

From chapels to barns, ballrooms to backyards, every venue has its own kind of “altar.”

It might be a traditional arbor, a staircase, a patch of sunlit grass, or in this case…a fireplace that deserved her moment.

We covered this mantle in layered greenery, dreamy cream and blush blooms, and soft trailing vines to make it feel lush and alive...

Like the room was holding its breath for the ceremony to begin.

Add a sea of glowing candles? Chef’s freaking KISS.

Whatever the structure, I’m here to dress her up, dial in the vibe, and turn it into a backdrop worth remembering.

Because your ceremony space deserves the same freaking attention to detail as the reception.

It’s been a minute, so let’s reintroduce the woman behind the flowers (and the chaos).

I’m Sherrerd, owner, designer, former engineer turned floral chaos coordinator at Steele Orchid.

traded equations for eucalyptus, blueprints for bouquets, and honestly? Best freaking decision ever.

I’m a proud West Chester local, a die-hard Eagles fan (Can one of them PLEASE book me for their wedding?!), a mom to a bride-to-be, and the kind of person who will absolutely stop mid-sentence to point out a perfect dahlia.

If I’m not flowering weddings across Pennsylvania and beyond, I’m knee-deep in my garden, stalking a new venue, or in the studio blasting 80s jams while designing a proposal that ABSOLUTELY will leave your jaw on the damn floor.

My work?

Emotional.
Dimensional.
Intentional

The kind of florals that make people frickin’ cry in the best way.

You still need flowers

Ashley and Austin’s ceremony at The Inn at Grace Winery is your proof.

The stone courtyard was surrounded by forest and filled with light, but the addition of those towering floral installs?

Game-changing.

They gave the altar structure, added depth to every photo, and made the whole space feel intentional, like a sacred little nook tucked away in the trees just for their vows.

The greenery is your canvas. The flowers are what bring it to life.

Did you know that boutonnieres were worn to ward off bad luck or evil spirits?

This was historically a symbolic gesture of protection as a man stepped into a new chapter of life.

Over time, that tradition evolved into something quieter but no less meaningful, something often shared between a mother and son on the morning of a wedding.

The moment she pins the flowers to his lapel is more than just a final touch.

It’s a ritual of transition.
A pause.
A silent blessing.

For Roger, that moment obviously held soooo much tenderness.

A romantic blend of cream rose blush ranunculus.

Steele Orchid

I have a passion for flowers and creating designs that have a WOW factor. My love for flowers came from my mother who was a horticulturalist and designed gardens and floral arrangements. She won many awards, often the top ones, at the Philadelphia Flower Show. Although I do not have formal training like my mentor, it’s in my blood!

As much as possible, I use locally sourced flowers, oftentimes from my own garden! My moto, when it comes to arranging, is that more is more - the more flowers used, the better and the bigger the arrangement, the better. Steele Orchid uses color, texture and design combinations that are typically totally unexpected.

Steele Orchid designs custom bouquets for proms and weddings, and flower arrangements for showers, parties, and other events.
