Elena and Florin Nacu from Buford, Georgia were wed in a courthouse years back. But today, with pre-planning and with 8 of their closest friends and their two sons and daughter they wanted a wedding ceremony on the beach. I ask if they wanted a vow renewal but they wanted to be married by a pastor with the service being biblically based. It was, and everyone present placed their hand on the couples hands and with me declared them to be Mr. & Mrs. Florin Nacu! It was a beautiful ceremony. Immediately following, their oldest son had to leave to catch his flight from Savanah, Georgia to his first missionary assignment tomorrow.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Dr. Dan Hogan!

Dr. Dan Hogan was the perfect officiant for our wedding. He started the process by offering us a number of ceremony scripts to choose from (we blended a couple together), he then reviewed the wording to ensure everything would flow smoothly, and then after a brief initial phone call he offered his time to us for an in person meeting to acquaint ourselves with one another. This helped us all to not only become more comfortable working together, but also to build a personal connection which made him officiating our wedding feel even more special.

The officiating of the wedding itself was exactly as we wanted and rehearsed the day before - smooth, comfortable, professional, and personalized to us.

It was truly a pleasure to have Dr. Dan Hogan officiate our wedding. We would absolutely recommend him to any couple exploring options.

It’s been a busy wedding weekend.
Shelby and Abraham from Southgate, Michigan with 100 family members, friends and colleagues celebrated their wedding vows on the 18th Green in Harbourtown in Sea Pines on Friday evening. Even though the Sun was shining, it was a cold 47 degree day with the winds blowing off the water. After a 20 -25 minute ceremony, I noticed everyone moving quickly to the clubhouse, lol!

Rachel and Dave from Chicago, Illinois with 110 family member, colleagues and friends were united in marriage at the lovely Sea Pines Country Club. While the Club facility is beautiful, it was Plan B. Plan A was that the ceremony was to take place under the Liberty Oak Tree.
However, a passing rain front changed their original plan. But their ceremony was very special including communion and a time of Christian worship. We were all very moved and inspired. What an honor to officiate Rachel and Dave’s wedding ceremony!

After two cancelations, Mercedes from Brazil and Scott from Hilton Head were United in marriage at 11:00am in 45 degree cold! Kudos to Mercedes for withstanding harsh weather in her beautiful but sheer white wedding dress.
She was very cold but through her photography and ceremony, Mercedes stood tall and proud. Scott and Mercedes have a great future together.
