For only $250, your business can sponsor the creating of a palette. Custom designed by local crafter Forrester Made, each palette will be painted by a different Hernando County artist. They will be unveiled at a fall event and then displayed in local businesses for several months. At the conclusion of the exhibit, the palettes will be auctioned off to hel fund a "Happy 250" Birthday USA" palette exhibit.

Much thanks to the Hernando County Fine Arts Council for sponsoring four palettes and to Toner & Ramirez, PA Personal Injury Law Firm for jumping in to be the first to sponsor. The Brooksville Woman's Club set the stage by sponsoring the Palette of Lizzie Carr Washington painted live at Chinsegut's 2025 Emancipation Day celebration. 6 sponsors down, 44 to go!

How to sign up: Contact Natalie Kahler, GFWC Historic Brooksville Womans Club President at [email protected], or 352.238.6295. Payment may be made by cash, check, or Club Paypal. Sponsorships are first-come, first-served, and limited to 50 sponsors. Learn more about us at www. brooksvillewomansclub.org.

Happy Birthday to us! Thank you City Council for recognizing our 115 years of service.

🎉The City of Brooksville City Council recognized the 115th anniversary of the GFWC Historic Brooksville Woman’s Club at a regular Council meeting on Monday, May 19, 2025!

The GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs) Historic Brooksville Woman’s Club was established in 1910 when a group of women saw needs in Brooksville that were being unmet. The club was created with the goals of education, city beautification, community-building, and conservation.

Congratulations, GFWC Historic Brooksville Woman’s Club, on your anniversary, and thank you for all you have done for Brooksville over the past 115 years!
