🎶 Kicking off the night at 6:30 PM: BJ Griffin Band — the Detroit-born, Virginia-raised singer + cellist who wowed millions on America’s Got Talent with his genre-blending mix of classical, jazz, pop & soul.

The park opens at 5 PM for picnicking & family fun.

Best of all — it’s FREE & open to the public!

🎶 Day 1️⃣ of the Norfolk Waterfront Jazz Festival was unforgettable — incredible performances, perfect waterfront vibes, and a SOLD OUT crowd! Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the night so special.

We’re just getting started… Day 2️⃣ kicks off tonight! Here are a few reminders:

✔️ Gates open at 5 PM — bring water if you're arriving early
✔️ This event is SOLD OUT — no tickets at the gate
✔️ Pack light — all bags & coolers are subject to search
✔️ No tents, large umbrellas, glass, or outside alcohol permitted
✔️ Lawn chairs are welcome in General Admission
✔️ 2-Day Ticketholders: Double-check that your ticket matches the correct date for entry. You will have a Friday ticket and a Saturday ticket.
✔️ Parking is available at nearby downtown garages ($5–$20).
✔️ Service animals only.

Headed to the Norfolk Waterfront Jazz Festival this weekend? 🎶 Here are some important tips to know before you go ⬇️

🎷 The Norfolk Waterfront Jazz Festival is set to take place as scheduled at Town Point Park, Friday & Saturday, August 22 & 23 from 5pm - 11pm daily.

⏰ Gates open at 5 PM daily. If you arrive early, be sure to bring water.

🎫 This event is SOLD OUT — no tickets will be available at the gate.

👜 Coolers are welcome, but no outside alcohol or glass bottles are permitted. All bags and coolers are subject to search upon arrival. Please pack light to help security checks move quickly.

🪑 General Admission guests may bring a lawn chair.

☂️ No tents, tables, or large umbrellas. Small/personal umbrellas are allowed but must be lowered during live performances.
