i hope everyone had a good holiday season- whatever that may look like to you.

i know for me it’s a lot of fun but also brings up a lot of hard days and my depression tends to kick in pretty bad starting around my bday (mid november), which then remains with me throughout the rest of the year.

for me, i like the new year because it reminds me / pushes me to look at myself and regroup after all the craziness. i don’t see it as a time to reinvent myself but instead a time to reflect on what i liked and what i didn’t like.

i don’t think you have to make major changes (or any changes at all) if you’re genuinely content with where you’re at.

i hope you give your self grace, and love, and continue being the boss a$$ person you are! xo

also a gentle reminder that being skinny does not = being healthy.

this years faux flower crowns inspired by 🌻⚡️

a local bar here () has an annual Midsommar party and I’ve participated in the last two. it’s a good time.

while I love making dried and fresh flower crowns, I do enjoy challenging myself by using product I don’t usually work with- faux flowers.

this was only my second time making flower crowns using silk flowers and I’m pretty happy with the outcome 💛
