This past Sunday, a group of incredibly talented wedding industry pros came together for something a little different — to shine a light on the lovable, goofy, sweet-natured pets at Orange County Animal Services who are all waiting for a place to call home.

We spent the day capturing their personalities — from the bashful snugglers to the wild zoomie kings and queens. Dogs all full of love and longing, just hoping for a human to curl up next to at the end of the day.

The beautiful girl in the first photo is Doti — and we’re thrilled to share she found her forever home this weekend! But sweet souls like Ricotta (A575104) and Buzz (A573550) are still waiting.

This project always brings up a lot of emotions for our team — laughter, love, and a little bit of heartbreak. These shelters stay full, and every one of these animals is just hoping for a second chance and a soft place to land.

I really struggled with what to post today.

I was going to post something light-hearted expressing my thoughts and celebrate the day...but it wasn't authentic. I built Love Out Loud with the expectation and foundation of authenticity and heart, so instead, I'll just say this:

Independence Day means something a little different to me today than it did even a few short years ago.

I’m grateful to live in this country, and I also know there’s still room for growth—room for more understanding, more compassion, and more care for one another.

Because true freedom should mean liberty, safety, and dignity for everyone.
Not just some.

So today, I’m honoring the complexity. Holding space for both gratitude and grief. For hope and heartbreak.

And if this day feels complicated for you too, I want you to know—you’re not alone.

Let’s be gentle with ourselves and kind to one another. Let’s be a light where we can. Happy Fourth of July.

It is HOT out there right now, but this sweet bride at our recent styled shoot made it look effortless.

If you're planning a wedding in the Orlando area, I'd love to help! That said, I definitely suggest keeping the dates to the October-May months to combat that heat.

Three cheers for Friday...and maybe some cake!

This shot is from a styled shoot that we did recently with an amazing powerhouse of vendors. We pulled it together in just over a week, and we definitely could not have done it without some awesome people behind the scenes (and in front of the camera).

Our networking group believes in community over competition, and the photos captured exhibit just that. It takes a village to plan a wedding, so be sure to hire vendors that know how to make that happen - together and without competition. There's room for all of us in my corner. ❤

That’s what wedding mornings feel like for me —every single time.

Watching you get ready with your closest people—hair, makeup, gown, something old, something blue...and happy tears—it’s such a beautiful transformation to witness.

It’s an honor to be there in those final moments: the deep breath, the last dress fluff, the quiet before the aisle. Reminding you to take it all in and be present.

That walk to your forever? It never gets old for me. What an honor. What a rush. Thank you for letting me be a part of that. ❤
