Orange County Children’s Therapeutic Arts Center offers high quality, comprehensive, multicultural curriculum and programs that combine the arts, academics and creative therapies to empower children and youth of Orange County and surrounding communities. OCCTAC’s vision is to empower children and youth of limited resources from diverse backgrounds through academic support; creative expression thro

ugh the arts and parent education. OCCTAC is committed to providing access to services for all children and families impacted by physical, cognitive, language, social, emotional or learning disabilities. We accomplish this in part by serving as a catalyst for expanded quality services and by developing new programs to fill identified gaps in the community. We continue to ensure that the foundation of the organization rests with committed and compassionate Board of Directors, staff and teachers, who are talented artists, musicians, educators and therapists.

🎸 DREAM MAKER SPOTLIGHT 🌟
“It all started with a guitar, a desire to give back, and a belief in second chances.”

Years ago, Arturo Echarte — founder of Acoustic for a Change — donated refurbished instruments to OCCTAC. That one act of kindness sparked a lasting relationship, one that’s touched hundreds of lives.

Alongside his wife, Susan Echarte of PCI (Postal Center International), the Echartes have become champions of our mission — giving their time, leadership, and resources to uplift children in need.

🎶 *“The Tres Caballeros”*

🏆 3rd Place – Division 9 (Collegiate Age 18–23)

A musical tribute to my grandmother, Guadalupe Enríquez—a woman whose strength and faith moved mountains.

This four-part piece tells a miraculous true story from 1996 in Mexico:

🎵 *Part I*: Her personal motif—humble, resilient, and full of grace.
🇲🇽 *Part II*: A march tempo drawn from Mexico’s national anthem as she walked into the municipal building with quiet courage.
🎹 *Part III*: A dramatic piano solo retelling the moment in the town plaza when danger circled—and three horsemen, a divine symbol of the Holy Trinity, appeared and protected her.
✨ *Part IV*: Her theme returns. Gracefully walking away, cradled in God’s favor.

She was never one to seek attention. But I wrote this to honor her story—for those who believe in quiet miracles, and the music they leave behind.
