As an event planner/designer compromise is my new middle name. It took a few years for me NOT to be phased by abrupt changes or clients not valuing certain aesthetic details.

In my mind, ALL of the details matter - from the invitation down to your salt and pepper shakers. But again, not everyone values or desires to splurge on chargers, linens, etc. and I most certainly can’t foot the bill for all of my clients events so compromise it is lol

When this happens, creativity is at its peak. Finding ways to elevate standard venue inclusions can be intimidating and at times discouraging but the client is always right, it’s their investment. Educating them and showcasing the possibilities is all we can truly do.

For this event, we used IN HOUSE linens, napkins, and tabletop details (w. exception to the clear chargers from ). My clients understood the values of great lighting and chair rentals 🫶🏽 - two components that greatly elevated this final design.

Long story short, we make it happen every time 👏🏽

Especially when you meticulously plan that wedding day shot list 😎. Wedding days are chaotic, pre planning every moment is how we navigate the unexpected stressors. IRL, we had about 90 seconds to get these shots so we could sneak our couple in prior to ceremony start.

A professional and experienced wedding day team is irreplaceable and hiring one is the biggest flex for any couple preparing to get married.
