We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our beloved friend and community leader, Rollie Correa, who left us last evening. Rollie was more than just a familiar face at Tablerock. He was our Tonkawa Chief, a tireless volunteer, and a cornerstone of our shared mission to preserve and celebrate the spirit of this place.
Rollie and his wife, Beth, were longtime members of the Tablerock board and poured their hearts into every project, every performance, and every gathering. It is no exaggeration to say that Tablerock Park would not be what it is today without Rollie’s vision and dedication. He was instrumental in securing the grant that helped develop and officially designate Tablerock Park—a lasting legacy that will benefit our community for generations to come.
Whether he was building sets, mending fences, or taking the stage, Rollie gave of himself freely and fully. He brought passion, wisdom, and kindness to everything he touched. He led not just with words, but through tireless action and a deep love for his community.
Our hearts are with Beth and the entire Correa family as we mourn this tremendous loss. We invite our Tablerock family and the greater community to join us in honoring Rollie’s memory, and in sending heartfelt condolences and prayers to those who loved him most.
Rollie, thank you for everything. Your light will continue to shine here at Tablerock in the trees, on the stage, and in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know you.
