Since the election, we’ve heard from freelancers that the thing they’re in search of most is community. Freelancing can already be a particularly lonely gig, and it doesn’t help that third places — spaces that exist outside of the work and home — are in decline. Mission: Promote economic opportunity and labor standards for freelancers in media and entertainment though training and resources for building successful careers by providing 21st century skills for the future of the workforce.

Vision: To build a vibrant community and support system where freelancers can attend events, continue to learn through educational programming, cowork, build connections with fellow freelancers, and access resources they need to thrive.
