One thing I’ve learned as a DJ: people are usually able to separate the artist from the art. In the 8 years I’ve been doing this, I’ve never had someone put an artist on a “do not play” list because of something they were canceled for. So now I’m curious… what’s an artist you still listen to even though they’ve been “cancelled”?

My favorite part of being an officiant will always be standing up front with the groom… because you get a front‑row seat to the moment everything changes. When Mallisa reached the front and the first word out of Tim’s mouth was “DAMN,” I knew we were witnessing something unforgettable. That moment was everything. I’m so grateful I got to be part of that tiny slice of magic and even more honored to join them as husband and wife. The night was everything and more.
