Congratulations to our Graphics Production leader, Dave O'Connor, on earning Hiver of the Quarter for Q2!
Dave has been working with BlueHive since BlueHive started 20 years ago. If you've seen our exhibit work, you've most likely seen Dave's work. His department is responsible for wrapping the vinyl and printing and cutting sintra graphics on booths of all shapes and sizes in our Worcester, MA headquaters. And if you're local to the area, you may have witnessed his team's exquisite vinyl wrap work on local company vehicles such as Fallon Health, and most recently Veterans Inc. We are so grateful for Dave and his team's dedication to their work and to just being extraordinarily helpful and kind people all around.
Q: How long have you worked at BlueHive?
A: 20 years
Q: What is your position / title?
A: Graphics Manager
Q: Do you have a nickname?
A: Not really, at least not that I know of.
Q: How did you get started working in the industry?
A: Started in the warehouse in 1997, and thought what a cool industry to work in.
Q: Favorite thing to do when not at work?
A: Work on home and car projects.
Q: Favorite sports team(s)?
A: Boston Bruins
Q: Favorite holiday and why?
A: Christmas, to spend time with family.
Q: If you could have one superpower what would it be?
A: Mindreading (would make life a little easier!)
Q: Flash forward ten years: Where are you and what are you doing?
A: Well… won’t be old enough to retire so still working!
Q: What was your favorite childhood toy/game?
A: Any toy with wheels.
