30 years ago, on April 19, 1995, the city of Oklahoma City was shaken.
Timothy McVeigh destroyed the Alfred P. Murrah building. it could be felt throughout nearby towns and cities. This tree, was still standing during the destruction, and even when they tore the rest of the building down.
i took this photo when i went there on a photography class trip to take photos and explore downtown okc, and donated it to DVIS as thank you for helping me and other survivors. its important to me in the month of April since it is SAAM (can’t say it because of facebook authorities) it’s a symbol of
