Happy New Year! This time last year I was working at a fantastic wedding in Venice and this year I’m making plans for the future, warm and cozy at home while it rains. I appreciate all of the versions this holiday has given me over the years and I’m excited to see what 2026 has in store!

The holidays are my favorite time of year; I absolutely love to celebrate the season with family and friends. I have thrown my own Christmas party for several years now and what makes my set-up easier is that I have a collection of hosting items to pull from when it comes to my tabletop and decor. I add to my collection every year and have great memories associated with each piece. I consider party essentials to include items such as special candlestick holders, silver serving pieces, festive linens and unique barware that signals a special occasion. These are some items I have my eye on…Santa if you are listening…drop these down my chimney….
