Make your nonnas proud and join us for a “Tomato Girl Summer” inspired workshop 🍅🍅

& have partnered up to bring you the cutest flower class & wine + cheese tasting inspired by summers in the coast of Italy 🇮🇹🍅

About the Workshop:

🍅Shiraya & Savannah from Charcuteray will guide attendees through an expertly paired, tomato centered wine & cheese tasting!

🍅This tasting will be focused on cheeses made with tomatoes plus all of our other fave tomato cheese pairings.

🍅Wines will have an emphasis on easy-drinking wines that go perfectly with tomato centered dishes and hot, summer days!

🍅Each ticket includes tasting portions of 4 wines 8 cheese & charcuterie pairings with additional accoutrements.

🍅The ladies from Anthousai will then demonstrate how to create a tomato inspired floral arrangement - incorporating actual tomato branches, fresh tomatoes and locally grown summer flowers!

🍅We will then guide you in creating your own floral arrangement.

🍅You will leave your own arrangement and the skills and knowledge on how to create your own fresh floral arrangements in the future

Meet Liz! The owner and face behind

We asked Liz some questions about what it’s been like to have her own flower farm in Oklahoma !!!

Gardenia is a cut flower farm specializing in seasonally lush bouquets, annuals, perennials and native plants. We are located in the Missouri Ozarks on a 130-year-old homestead at the spring head of Big Sugar Creek.  We grow over 60 varieties of flowers and deliver to regional florists and Whole Foods in OK, MO & AR. We host a series of workshops as well.

Q. How did Gardenia come about?

A. Liz studied high-intensity, small-scale flower farming with Floret. She starts most seeds in the greenhouse and succession plants throughout the season. Her husband Ben has been farming full time with her for the past 6 years. They have 4 children & two dogs.

Q. Best and hardest part of running a flower farm:

A. The best part of flower farming is sharing beauty with others. I love the tactile experience of working with flowers and am fascinated by their scent and healing properties. Living on our farm has allowed us to spend more time with our children. I am always learning something new. The most challenging part of farming is dealing with weather, long winters and educating the public about the importance of buying local flowers.

The details:

🌸Shiraya & Savannah from Charcuteray will guide attendees through an expertly paired wine & cheese tasting!

🌸 Each ticket includes portions of 4 wines and 8 cheese & charcuterie pairings with other accoutrements plus additional snacks!

🌸The Anthousai team will then demonstrate how to create a spring inspired floral arrangement focusing on locally grown spring flowers!

🌸You will leave your own beautiful floral arrangement and the skills and knowledge on how to create your own in the future

🌸The workshop will be held on Thursday May 15th from 6:00pm - 8:30pm at our shop!

When you purchase your Mother’s Day flowers from us you’re not only going to get the highest quality flowers that will last 10x longer than store bought, but by supporting our small business, you are also supporting our local flower farmers that are all owned by women who are mothers themselves.

Since we are only sourcing locally, each arrangement we make will all be one of a kind with their own unique color story!
