Full Service Photography Service My name is Mike Dragon, I’ve been a photographer for over ten years. I later decided to pursue a degree in photography.

Photography began as a hobby for me and grew into my profession. As a child I used a 35mm film camera and began my first photography courses in High School. Taking the time to learn the science and the history behind the art gave me an even greater appreciation for my work. Out of college I worked for a local photographer as an assistant. I quickly became an editing, producing, designing, and phot

ography expert. Within the team I focused on photoshop and editing software. During this time I learned first hand what it takes to run a photography studio on a daily basis. My photography style is unique and unlike anyone I have seen. I understand the functional aspects of photography and take pride in being able to shoot with a fully manual camera in this technologically advanced age. I can develop my own film and learned alternative processes to make prints with sunlight and mixtures of chemicals in my parents garage. Although I am serious about my business, I take a laid back approach to photography and ensure everyone gets the five star treatment when working with me. Dragon Studio is a personalized experience where I know each client far beyond a business transaction. I promote a fun atmosphere where everyone enjoys the shoot or event I attend.

I've known Lauren and Nathan Price with Right Price Real Estate Team for a long time - since before they were Realtors. I like that I get to see them pretty often, and it's fun to get to update their marketing photos for them.

One thing about having a photographer that will help you update marketing photos regularly is that you always have a steady stream of content that doesn't get stale. The Prices understand that.

Laura and Ricky's wedding was a great time. There were cool details, like a cardboard cut-out of Ricky's brother who couldn't make it, a prank first look, and tons of other personal touches. The people were awesome, the vendors were awesome, and there was a ton of dancing and good times.

Misty has me update content photos for Misty Saves the Day once or twice a year. We spend like half a day taking photos and sometimes doing video, too, while they're all in town. It's usually a good time, and it always ends with good food, which is a bonus.

We've lived in our house for about ten years and I've known Gavin for about as long. It's cool to see the families grow up in your neighborhood. He's graduating this year, so we did some senior photos for him recently to commemorate this time in his life.

Lindsey and Jeff had a pretty perfect day for a wedding. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and they had their friends and family there to celebrate with them.

I hadn't had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at the new The Legacy at Willow Pond yet, and it was just as pretty as I remembered from when I went out there for the open house.

The people over at Coastal Virginia Magazine are awesome to work with, and I always have fun with their ideas. This month's issue of Coastal Virginia Magazine is all about moms, and I took photos for three of the professionals featured. They showcased some pretty inspiring professionals with the moms who have supported and inspired them over the years.

One of the best parts about doing stuff like this is that I get to do what I love, but this time, I didn’t know that I would get the cover. That was an awesome surprise.
