It's FriYAY & we have a wedding free weekend! Weddings are often slower during the summer but it is very rare that our entire team is off. I think we deserve it, don't you?! What should we plan to do?!

Lets rewind a few weeks ago when I was trying to return a pair of curtains. I bought them using my paypal account which is connected to my old ymail email address. (As if yahoo isn't bad enough, I had a ymail account!) Y'all I found all my 2019 weddings archived and took a trip down memory lane. This was one of the sweetest brides ever and I booked her at my first ever bridal show. Here are some business updates since 2019!
1️⃣ We upgraded from ymail to our own business email addresses.
2️⃣ We have a legit contract that can be signed easily online. I used to use a site called invoice generator and that was it!
3️⃣ I don't even know if I had an assistant at this wedding but now I would NEVER go to a wedding alone.
4️⃣ In 2019 I had 4 weddings in September and we can now do 4 weddings in one day!
5️⃣ We now know to dim the lights when the dance floor opens! 😂 The fun light up props are more fun when your planner knows what to do!
Shoutout to those who trusted us way back when and those who still trust us know, we are always learning, growing and don't take it lightly that you pick US for such a big day. If you want to chat more, DM us for packages and info.

Come back Wednesday to hear how much our business has changed since this wedding. This was September of 2019 and if I could tell the person who planned this big day back then, what CM Promotions would have turned into, she wouldn't believe it. Feeling blessed this Monday to be living out my dream life with the best team!

Wedding Planner & Lover of Life!

Howdy Ya’ll! I am Cindy McIntyre, a native Bostonian, I relocated here to Texas to be closer to my amazing fiancé (recent change as of November!). I fell in love with Denton the second I stepped foot onto the square and tasted Beth Marie’s, no joke! Moving 1,500 miles away from the only zip code I’d ever lived in was hard, but I can’t imagine being anywhere else.

I had been successfully planning events for years and decided in 2017 that it was time to take that leap, and what a whirlwind it has been! In December of 2017 I launched CM Promotions. That following February I completed my certification with the American Association of Certified Wedding Planners. I was already passionate about planning, that frame on the wall made it all legit. With an “I can do this!” attitude I already had two weddings under my belt within my first 2 months. That was just the start of my fairytale, fast forward to 2020 and make that 50, (yes 50 weddings!!)

My team and I were the proud recipients of both the “Best of The Knot” and Wedding Wire’s “Couples’ Choice” awards, it goes without saying that our couples mean the world to us!

When I am not planning, you can find me outside with Joe (fiancé & handsome stud pictured above) and our dog Layla trying new restaurants or curled up reading yet another Nora Roberts love story. I love running (yes, true it clears my head) & I am an avid camper with Camp Gladiator. My favorite food is dessert and I LOVE coffee, lets connect & grab a cup sometime!
