Where it all began...

Hello & welcome to Sarah Despino Photography!!! I'm a firm believer that photography is freezing a moment in time that we will never get back. It's an art that keeps the past alive. I strive to provide my clients the with best photography experience! I am a self-taught photographer from Marthaville, La and currently reside in Goldonna, La. I am married to my wonderful husband, Seth and we have two kids, Case and Kennedy.

I first fell in love with art in high school. I went on to major in Graphic Communications in college. It wasn’t until the birth of my son when I sparked an interest in nursing, but my love for art didn’t end. I remember my very first photography session like it was yesterday! Case was about eight months old, I dressed him in a baby blue romper, laid him on a blanket in the grass and took his pictures. I was using a point and shoot Nikon camera. The images of my baby I created bring me back to that day every time I see them and I haven’t stopped taking pictures since!
