Some of the best people you’ll ever meet are the people you will never see again. There is something about the folks who are just passing through, that leave an impression. Whether you Googled us specifically or for a unique location or you stumbled upon us or you heard from Aunt Linda‘s best friend, that you HAVE to try this place on your way to the beach, we are grateful for you!

We appreciate hearing your stories as much as we love sharing ours. We are so blessed you chose to have a meal with us. Your craving for an “Oh My Cluckin’ Goodness” sandwich impacts our community, more than you know.

Friday, May 30th, we invite you to stop by Cafe Appalachia to say goodbye to someone who has brought so much love, kindness, and life to our garden and our community. 🌻

Kat, our incredible gardener and farm manager, will be hosting a special Plant Sale on her last day. It’s your chance to take home a piece of her hard work and dedication — and to let her know just how much she means to all of us.

Kat has always treated every person, animal, and plant she’s encountered with such love and care. Now, she’s heading off to new adventures, and we couldn’t be prouder — but we will miss her deeply. 💚
