Sitting in my cap and gown, reading a newspaper about my own story, is the perfect symbol of everything this journey has been. I didn’t just earn a degree… I rewrote my narrative.

From teen mom to Executive MBA every chapter, every challenge, every late night, every prayer led me here. And today, I get to look at my life like the front-page news it truly is.

This isn’t just a photo.
It’s a reminder that:

Your victories deserve to be celebrated.
And you have the power to become the headline, not the statistic.

Today, I celebrated my graduation, and this moment means more than words can express.
My journey wasn’t easy. It didn’t come with shortcuts or perfect circumstances. It came with challenges, late nights, sacrifice, and the kind of strength you can only discover when life gives you every reason to quit and you keep going anyway.

This degree represents more than education.
It represents resilience.
It represents faith.
It represents every barrier I refused to let stop me.

Today, I graduated not just for myself, but for my family, and the girl I used to be who had no idea she would one day make it this far.

This is only the beginning.

Day 1 of was a huge success! 2,007 attendees checked in, impactful general sessions, 5 engaging breakout rooms, plus an inspiring exhibit hall and poster presentations.
As the meeting planner, it’s amazing to see years of preparation come to life. Looking forward to tomorrow as we welcome another 500 attendees!

Today my kids and I joined Senator Willie Preston’s Emergency Food Drive, where The Kindness Campaign provided food for families in need. It’s such a blessing to give back and show my children what compassion in action looks like serving others, spreading kindness, and making sure no family goes hungry.
Together, we’re proving that when a community comes together, we can make a real difference.
