Today, as we gather with family and friends, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the very foundation of the freedoms we enjoy every day.

At Wreaths Across America – Camp Nelson, our mission is to Remember, Honor, and Teach. On this solemn day, we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, we honor their courage and legacy, and we commit to teaching future generations the true cost of freedom.

We invite you to take a moment of silence today to reflect on the heroes who rest at Camp Nelson National Cemetery and across our nation. Let us never forget that every headstone marks a life lived in service, a family who grieved, and a sacrifice that must never be taken for granted.

Come out and join us for this year's Wreath Run. Every entry guarantees a wreath is placed on a hero's grave at the hallowed ground of Camp Nelson National Cemetery during the holidays.
Our partnership with Wreaths Across America, Camp Nelson National Cemetery has allowed our chapter to place hundreds of wreaths honoring our service members who have passed.
So come on out and be an important partner in the humbling endeavor.

We hope everyone can join us tomorrow, February 1 at Camp Nelson Cemetery for our annual wreath pick up.

We will be starting at 9 AM and we will go until we are completely done picking up the wreaths.

If you would like to join us, please dress appropriately for the weather and the work.

Wear long sleeves, work gloves, and dress appropriately for the weather. You can also bring rope, tarps, a rake or broom. Those things will aid in helping you carry multiple wreaths as we are gathering them from the headstones around the cemetery.
Also, please do not park in the grass!

We extend the invitation to join us even if you can come out only for an hour! We’d love to see you & we truly need your help!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
