✨ Buck Moon Rising – July 10, 2025 ✨

Tonight’s full moon is known as the Buck Moon! It’s name is to symbolize renewal, strength, and natural cycles (like when male deer begin growing new antlers)

This name comes from the Algonquin and other Indigenous peoples, who lived in close relationship with the rhythms of land, water, and sky. As we witness this moonrise, we honor the wisdom of Native communities and their long stewardship of these lands!

Looking for a simple Ritual for the Buck Moon?

-Step outside at dusk.

-Offer a quiet moment of gratitude to the land you’re on. Speak the name of the Indigenous nation if you know it.

-🕯️ Light a candle or place a bowl of water under the moonlight. Reflect on how you’ve grown this year—like the antlers of the buck.

-Write down one intention for strength or renewal, and keep it somewhere visible.

This artisanal candle company brings new life to discarded materials using recycled wax and wicks from events in Charleston! Since Charleston is the one of the biggest wedding destinations, this reduces a lot of candle and wax waste in the community.

WHATEVER HEALS YOU: A yoga teacher in a past life and a psychologist by day, Nicole Salo began creating when she made jewelry for her wedding day. Experiencing such a wonderful form of self expression, she began her jewelry business in just a few short months.
