On this day... 24 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,731 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift. None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001.

In one single moment life may never be the same. Tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.

A special request from my dear friend Diana (who is a sister from another mother and another father 🥰)… she wanted me to make her a special apple that was dipped in my homemade decadent caramel then in chocolate, then coated in toasted almonds. We let that dry and set, and one more time in chocolate and then the final coat in toasted coconut, almost like an almond joy, but better. These apples weigh clearly over a pound each and the combination is to die for… so I named these 🌷 Princess Diana Apples 🍏
