The sneak peeks are in from B & J's wedding at deCordova, and while we won't be sharing the couple's faces, I had to share these stunning images.

After touring nearly 50 venues across the country (yes, 50!), B & J knew almost immediately when they saw deCordova that they had finally found the one.

With their love of clean lines, thoughtful details, and a more minimalist aesthetic, the space already had so much of what they were looking for. The art, architecture, and landscape did the heavy lifting, which meant the design didn't need to compete with any of it.

Sometimes the best design decision is knowing when you don't need to add more.

And after 50 venues, I'd say this one was worth the wait.

Five years ago this weekend, K & W finally got to have their wedding celebration.

They had already said "I do" on their original date, during a time when weddings looked very different. A year later, they finally gathered everyone they loved at Salem Cross Inn to celebrate.

And the location couldn't have been more meaningful. Decades earlier, K's parents had celebrated their own wedding in the very same place.

Two generations, one very special venue, and the beginning of another chapter in their family's story.

Five years later, their family has grown, which somehow makes looking back at this day even sweeter.

What a privilege it was to be part of this chapter.

One of my core values has always been captured in this quote:

"You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you."
— John Bunyan

This past weekend, I had the privilege of working on behalf of in support of the , and it reminded me why this event means so much to me.

Thirty-seven years ago this month, my mom was a patient at Dana-Farber. She was incredibly sick, and at the time, there simply wasn't a treatment that could save her.

I often think about everything that's happened since then. The hundreds of millions of dollars raised. The research funded. The breakthroughs made. The lives that have been changed because people chose to ride, work, volunteer, donate, and believe that tomorrow could be better than today.

Seventeen years ago, I experienced a small piece of that myself when I ran a half marathon in honor of my friend Robert after he suffered a catastrophic stroke. Crossing the finish line with him taught me something I'll never forget: there is incredible purpose in giving your time, your energy, and your heart to something bigger than yourself.

It's one of the reasons I believe so deeply in community. Whether it's supporting life-changing research, showing up for a friend, or helping a couple navigate one of the biggest days of their lives, I want my work and my life to leave people better than I found them.

This weekend reminded me that progress is built one person, one act of generosity, and one moment of hope at a time.

That's a legacy worth being part of.

This work is so much more than timelines, floor plans, and beautifully set tables.

It's about being there for people during one of the biggest seasons of their lives. The excitement, the anticipation, the tough decisions, the unexpected changes, and everything in between.

While weddings are filled with incredible moments of joy, there are also times that call for patience, reassurance, and simply being present. Those moments may never make it into the photos, but they're just as much a part of the journey.

I feel incredibly fortunate that my clients trust me with all of it. Not just to create a beautiful celebration, but to help guide them through the process with confidence and care.

At the end of the day, that's what this work has always been about for me: caring deeply about the people I serve and making sure they can be fully present for the moments that matter most.

As I pack the car and head north to Woodstock for another wedding weekend, I can't help thinking about K & J's incredible celebration.

There is something so special about weddings in Vermont. The mountains, the pace, the people, and the way everyone seems to settle into the weekend and simply be present. It creates a feeling that's hard to put into words.

K & J embraced all of it. Every detail felt thoughtful, every moment felt genuine, and their guests experienced exactly what a wedding weekend should be: time together, beautiful scenery, maple creemes by the lake, golf, fly fishing, hiking, plenty of laughter, and memories that linger long after the last dance.

I'm so grateful this work brings me back to places like Woodstock year after year. Here's to another weekend of celebrating love in one of New England's most magical corners.

I can't wait to do it all again.
