đ¤ National Senior Citizens Day â In Honor of My Papa đ¤
Todayâs post is a little more personal than business.
When I think about the people who shaped who I am, my Papa will forever be one of the first who comes to mind.
He was one of my greatest inspirations for happiness. He taught me that a good life isnât measured by how much you have, but by the memories you make, the people you love, the laughter you share, and what you leave behind in the hearts of others.
He taught me more about life than he probably ever realized.
And when it came time for me to decide what kind of person I wanted to become, his example played a huge part in one of the biggest decisions of my lifeâjoining the military. đşđ¸
My Papa has since passed, and there are so many moments I wish he could still be here to see. I wish I could show him how much his influence continues to reach into the life Iâm building today.
But in a way, he is still part of it.
That Military Couple was built around service, family, love, memories, and finding a little order in the chaos of life. Those arenât simply words we put on a logo. Theyâre pieces of the people and experiences that shaped us.
And my Papa is one of those pieces.
As this business continues to grow, I want his legacy to remain woven into what we doâto remember the generations who came before us, to photograph the people we love while theyâre still beside us, and to never underestimate how much one personâs life can influence another.
So today, on National Senior Citizens Day, weâre honoring all of the parents, grandparents, Papas, Nanas, veterans, mentors, and incredible older generations who have given us their stories, wisdom, laughter, and love.
And for me, especially, Iâm honoring my Papa. đ¤
I hope somewhere he knows that the lessons stuck.
The little girl he taught so much about life grew up, put on the uniform, built a family, picked up a camera, and created something where his legacy will always have a place.
Grateful for the wisdom. Thankful for the love. Forever carrying you with me, Papa. đ¤
