A great few days prepping for and installing the florals for Madison and Xan. It was a lot of work, but Karen did it with Love. And she did 99% of it by herself!

I’m pretty good with the weather. The forecast called for rain ad the bride was concerned at the rehearsal. I told her that I’d put in an order for no rain. On the Big Day, it rained in the morning so the MOB called for a rain contingency and they moved the ceremony from the meadow to the barn. Jessie, the bride, refused to “be married in a barn!”, so they had to flip all the flowers back to the meadow. After all, she said, “Rev Ray said he won’t let it rain. This was going to take some time. The MOB asked me if we could postpone for 30 minutes. I told her that I would have to put in a change order prayer, but it looked ok.
No rain!
As I left, I drive about 1/4 mile and hit a wall of rain! It was pouring down like a cloudburst!
It’s good to have Friends in high places!

A fun and fantastic wedding yesterday at Revel Event Center in Greenville. Jennifer and Brian have been planning their Roaring 20’s themed wedding for about 18 months and pulled it off in Aces! With this much teamwork, there’s no doubt that they can work through anything!

At the Hotel Domestique today in Travelers Rest to celebrate the Love of Amanda and Nick with family and friends. Amanda said afterwards that the ceremony was perfect and she felt every word like she hadn’t before. I guess I did my job right!
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Hall. Three’s a lucky charm on St Pats Day!

We had the pleasure of having Rev. Ray officiate our wedding. He did an amazing job. He is so helpful throughout the entire process and always makes himself available. He was kind, funny, and made the rehearsal and day of go smoothly! We had many people ask where we found him. 10000/10 would recommend!

Another beautiful Fall afternoon at the Pretty Place Chapel. Melissa and John had heard about it and reserved their time “sight unseen”. They weren’t disappointed! A beautiful start to their Happily Ever After!

Traveled to Rock Hill and the Magnolia Room to usher in Ryan and Tran to Holy Union. A large gathering of family and friends were there to offer their blessings and celebrate Love.
I do believe they are on their way to a Happily Ever After!

What an incredibly busy week at From This Day Forward! One rehearsal +5 weddings in seven days. And a breakfast to get together with a couple on our free day! What a blessing to be able to officiate Diana and Mark, Alyssa and Evan, Rachel and Chris, Cassandra and Taylor and Catherine and Lane’s nuptials! From Columbia to Cleveland and Easley to Hendersonville. About 800 miles or so of celebrating love.
Can you forgive us for waiting until Monday to post?

Hi! We're back! We never really went away. We've been posting on our Instagram page .

It's been a labor of Love (because that's what we celebrate) and coming along nicely.
