Do you have a favorite Mermaid story or movie?
Something about mermaids … I have loved them since I was a kid. I used to watch old black and white movies I can remember being intrigued by Mr. Peabody and The Mermaid. When I swam in the ocean I imagined myself being a mermaid so, I could talk to the dolphins and other sea creatures. These have been inspired by other face paint artists on the internet.

🎨 I had a pleasure of working as a subcontractor for Bentley designs at one of their larger events, and it reminded me just how energizing it is to collaborate with fellow artists who share a love for color and joyful experiences!

🎨 Behind the Curtain: THE ART OF PROGRESS
People often see the finish, face, a splash of color, a shimmer of glitter, a moment of joy. But behind every butterfly tiger or snake is something else and your imagination is something else entirely:
PRACTICE.

I believe great face painting isn’t just about talent-it’s about stretching your paintbrush and your imagination, learning new techniques, and pushing yourself to grow. Every new design starts as a challenge a sketch, a smudge, an adjustment… And eventually, this is it!

Lately I’ve been experimenting with new styles, and it’s reminded me just how much time and work goes into it but the client ll never sees it. So I’ve decided to share some of it here.

So here’s to progress, inspiration, to practice and to the stories told one brushstroke at the time.

He sat so still in his mother’s lap, completely focused while I painted Spiderman on his arm. She watched him light up with joy — and smiled in that way only moms do when their kid surprises them. (She didn't think he would sit still)

Mom hadn’t planned on getting painted… but after seeing how happy he was, she asked for a butterfly of her own. 😍Matching energy. Unexpected magic.💫

Face Paint + Fascination 💙
We had one very dedicated Sonic fan at this event — he kept dashing back to the mirror to admire his face paint like it gave him real speed boosts! Moments like that are why we love what we do. ❤
