Happy Friday!! 💕

Lots of new followers so I thought it was time for a quick intro! I have been in the Bridal Industry for 17 years. I have had the opportunity to work with 1,000’s of Brides meet hundreds of designers and Bridal Fashion Week is like my Super Bowl.

Helping Brides find their gowns, dress and support them on their wedding day and everything in between is truly a dream job!

Fun Facts about my wedding!

🤍 I did not cut a cake, have a first dance, throw a bouquet, wear a veil, non of the “norms”

🤍 the drummer for my wedding band played for the
Black Eyed Peas (I found my band at a bar in
Boston)

🤍I had 9 Bridesmaids they all wore something different (22 years ago before that was a thing)

🤍 our unity candle wouldn’t light 😂

🤍 my dad was in a motorcycle accident the week before (he was ok-ish) and my flower girl had a raging fever and strep throat

The story behind “the pony” that is breaking my DM’s right now ❤️ When I was a kid I actually used to wear my hair in a big long pony, then section it off with different colored elastics. I thought I was so cool but really i looked more like one of those show horses.

About two years ago I saw a photograph of a woman who had her hair sectioned off into two parts each secured with a bow. I snapped the pic and kept it on my phone, it reminded me of my hair style as a kid, that I truly thought I invented.

On Saturday I was the stylist for this phenomenal shoot. When the shoot was planned I had always styled with a pony. But once I saw her and we began hair and make up, it popped in my head, omg she’s perfect for THE PONY!! trusted me and let me make this last minute change. As I fumbled through trying to explain to this pony vision, “with puffy parts, but can’t look like a horse” she worked and I began tying the most perfect bows I can tie.

The day of your wedding will most likely be one of the most emotionally charged days of your life. A day full of excitement, love and maybe a bit of anxiety.

As your Day of Stylist my job doesn’t end at making sure you look and feel beautiful, I am also there as your most trusted ally, to provide you with a sense of ease and confidence. Providing a sense of calmness comes naturally to me.
