I lost both of my parents when I was 11. So when I see a dad tear up holding a photo tucked into his tie… or a mama zipping her daughter into her gown… it lands differently.⁣

✔️ Ghost chairs for that modern edge, and candlelight layered through soft white florals? Chef’s kiss. ⁣

We kept it clean, intentional, and just the right amount of bold for Addison & Kolton’s beautiful wedding day. ⁣
⁣
The white acrylic head table sat under floating chandeliers, the cake had its own floral framed moment in front of the windows, and every detail, from the height of the taper candles to the balance of white handle & gold flatware, was designed to make you stop and stare without screaming for attention.⁣

It was timeless, but not boring. Classic, but definitely not safe.⁣
⁣
No trends thrown in just to check a box. Just thoughtful design that felt like something.⁣

You saw the magic and we handled the madness. Here’s just a small glimpse into what really goes down behind the scenes at a Delight wedding (that you probably never knew):⁣

✔️ The time a bride thought her fiancé was gifting her earrings… but he went rogue and bought a necklace instead. Cue me, frantically calling my jeweler friend to deliver a pair within the hour. 😅⁣
⁣
✔️ The time another bride lost the borrowed jewels (like real diamonds) from a jeweler during the reception. Still not sure how we recovered from that one.⁣
⁣
✔️ The groomsman who split his pants right before walking down the aisle. Thank God we’d brought in the seamstress to steam gowns and she was still there and stitched him up like a pro.⁣
⁣
✔️ The flower girl who started sobbing mid-ceremony. I army crawled to the front, scooped her up, and we spent the rest of the ceremony inside playing and snacking like it was our job. (Because it was.)⁣
⁣
✔️ The wind is 1736 mph, it’s a night football game day on campus with people walking in and out of photos, and the veil wouldn’t cooperate… so I’m crouched behind, holding it down and praying you can’t see me in photos, and yelling at frat boys to exit the photo frame. ⁣
⁣
These aren’t the kind of moments you plan for.⁣
But they’re exactly why you hire a team who can.l! ⁣

When I started Delight, there wasn’t a business plan.⁣

There was a baby on my hip, a fire in my chest, and a gut-deep belief: 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜.⁣
⁣

Sunset skies, barefoot evenings, and champagne at golden hour… this is the kind of summer we live for. ☀️🫶🏼⁣

We may have missed posting on the 4th (we were too busy soaking it all in), but the vibe is still going strong: cool drinks, slower days, and the kind of light that makes everything feel magical.⁣
⁣
Throwing it back to last summer’s all-white party at the lake—a night that screamed summer. From the golden glow on the water to the laughter echoing across the docks to the ice cream cart and of course a pool jump at the end of the night… it was pure joy.⁣

And honestly? That’s our favorite part of this season. The way golden hour hits just right. The way people show up fully. The way moments feel a little lighter and a lot more alive.⁣
