Absolutely GORGEOUS morning wedding today at Chippokes Park.
Ya'll know that I pride myself in being able to not just make Grandpa come to tears, but crusty uncles too.
Well, this morning I had some of that handed back to me... the groom had me just about in tears. This couple was just so amazing and made writing for them so easy.

The best part about this job is getting to know my couples and craft the perfect ceremony for them.

Happy Anniversary to my very first couple, Asia and Daniel.
Since then I have done well over a hundred other weddings, from courthouse to back yard to major venues. I truly love this work and always want to remain true to my values- providing a ceremony that reflects your story.

How is every wedding my favorite? That makes no sense, right?

I guess I can get by with it because every single one is unique.

Anyway, Saturday was a bright, beautiful (if a bit steamy and humid) day and I was privileged to marry these two beautiful people.

This was a beautiful, sunny, but WINDY day. I loved getting to know Josh and Taylor, and writing a ceremony that reflected them. These pictures are fantastic, way to go Dragon Studio!

I had a wedding Friday and another today. Both very small courthouse affairs.

For both of these couples, I was able to give them a ceremony that was meaningful and personalized. I simply love doing this!
For one of them we had enough lead time that they were able to fill out my intake and give me lots of details. The other one though, it was more of a true elopement, called me the day before. But with a quick phone call and a few texts asking for details, I was still able to give them a personal touch.

ALL of my couples are meaningful to me; those who schedule a year in advance, and those who call me the evening before.
I'm honored that you allowed me to be part of your wedding, and you'll always get the best I have to offer.

Another beautiful weekend of weddings in the books.
One was a jeans-and-hoodies affair on a fishing dock, and the other was a formal event at an exclusive club. Both were full of love and laughter which makes them equally special in my eyes.

shoes soaked, socks soaked, pants wet halfway up to my knees... what have I been doing?

Marrying folks of course! We don't let a little thing like torrential downpours get in the way, and when the time of the ceremony is important for sentimental reasons, we don't wait until the sky clears up either!

Two wedding weekends in a row, a show in the middle, and an intake interview this evening.

I love doing this; I love meeting people, hearing their story, and turning it into something truly special for them.
