One of our favorite venues in San Francisco is the Palace of Fine Arts. With wide-open spaces and incredible statues that bookend the stage area, this space makes quite a statement. For Fusion’s Real Future Fair, we built a stage that felt more like a concert than a keynote, to keep the vibe as unconventional as possible. We used the existing architecture of giant angel statues as part of the stage design and customized the screens to frame them and create a cohesive presentation.

Fusion’s Real Future events were part of a year-long, multi-city tour produced for a new media company offering a unique mix of smart and irreverent original reporting, lifestyle, and comedic content. This particular event needed to be an equally uncommon gathering—offering both a conference element for professionals in the media sphere and a one-of-a-kind experience that left a lasting impact.

Though she's only been with Kennedy Events for a few months, Erin has already proven herself to be a remarkable addition to our team. Erin is thoughtful and thorough in her work; often taking the initiative to create a spreadsheet that she knows the team will need before the team knows they need it. Her event know-how is impressive. We’re in awe of everything she has created, managed, and owed in such a short amount of time. She truly is a natural fit for our ever-growing event squad. Maggie is one of the most magnetic and affectionate people on the planet; a genuine leader and mentor. She is super motivating to work for because she's always rooting for you and her enthusiasm is contagious. You never leave an interaction with Maggie feeling anything but energized and encouraged. She cares deeply about other people and wants to see everyone shine both personally and professionally.

Maggie treats every member of the KE team like family; recognizing her team as the most valuable asset to her company and ensuring that sentiment resonates within the culture of KE. (Timely example: It’s “No Meeting Week!” as we recoup from a busy Fall, take time off to spread a bit of gratitude, and gear up for 2024.) We love how a change in the furniture takes the vibe from light and airy to dark and chill; both providing attendees with a more intimate setting to network* or simply a comfy spot to escape and recoup a bit of personal space.

*All lounge spaces are pre-tested by KE Team members to ensure the highest level of comfort. This one got Eric’s stamp of approval. The job of Lounge Tester is no joke; Eric always includes mock conversation distance testing 👍

Kennedy Events has added another key player to our global team! Meet Xitlali Ferreyra Magaña, our new Event Admin and the backbone of our events team. She brings an administrative background that covers everything from being an executive assistant for CEOs to managing finance teams. Xitlali felt like a natural fit for our team from the word GO! She hit the ground running and continues to impress with every step she takes. Based in Morelia, Mexico, when she’s not wrangling contracts and improving the invisible processes that make partnering with KE stress-free, she’s practicing mindfulness outdoors or spending time with her rescue pup. She is an all-star addition to our team and we are thrilled to introduce you to Xitlali! 🎉

Today we want to wish a very Happy 7th Anniversary to the incredible Marianne! She’s one of the hardest working people we know; always on and ready to tackle each day. She is such a natural connector and we love how it elevates the KE game. She accomplishes more in a week than most people do in a month. We’ve always known how externally business-minded Marianne was in sales and relationship-building, but as she’s switched gears and embraced new opportunities, we’re truly seeing her internal business mind as well and it’s a beautiful thing. She is doing the most and is still willing to do whatever it takes to help when needed. Marianne is smart as a whip, funny, and has an openness that we all adore. She’s a leader, friend, mentor, and emotional-support-you-know-what. We all feel so lucky to be working with such an awesome lady. Our team truly wouldn’t be the same without her. We love a wide open space and our friends never disappoint. Their newest venue, Storek, definitely fits the bill. The space, located in the SoMA area on 9th Street, has so much potential. There’s tons of natural light and a mezzanine for creating layers of activations for events... This will be fun!
