Gio and Justin were planning from Colorado, but knew they wanted to bring everyone they love together here in Pennsylvania for an entire wedding weekend. After touring a few venues together, I knew Skytop was exactly what they were looking for. A place where guests could settle in, reconnect, and celebrate all weekend long.

Friday kicked things off with a welcome party, followed by a wedding day that felt completely true to them. One of my favorite touches was their whiskey bar, paired with bite sized whiskey infused desserts that became an instant guest favorite.

We are spending a few days out of the office celebrating our anniversary and thought it would be fun to share a few moments from our own wedding day.

Sarah and Kevin’s wedding weekend at the Grafton Inn was filled with so many thoughtful details, beautiful spaces, and time spent with the people who matter most. Instead of everything being squeezed into a few short hours, guests had the chance to connect, explore Vermont, and be fully present for the celebration.

These are the kinds of weddings I love planning. The guest experience, the logistics, the little, and creating a weekend that feels effortless for everyone involved.

Since I shared some moments from my grandma’s wedding with you all this week, I wanted to share one of my favorite moments from my own wedding. My grandma was unable to make the trip so we scheduled some time for us to video chat. I had no idea that she had sent a very special present with my Aunt Sue. I lived with my grandparents for a good majority of my childhood and we have always had such a special relationship. This meant the world to me and I can never thank enough for capturing this moment

If you know me, you know I usually keep to my circle. I’m more comfortable tucked in with my people than working a room. That has always been my default.

But this week, between the Gala and the events leading up to it, I stepped outside of that a bit. I had conversations with people I had never met before, spent time with some incredibly talented professionals, and walked away feeling genuinely inspired by the work being done in this industry. I danced, connected with so many new people, and left feeling really grateful to be in a room full of others who care so deeply about what they do.
