That’s a wrap on 2024! 🌟

What an incredible year it’s been—busy, but oh so rewarding! I had the chance to work at so many new and beautiful venues and alongside amazing vendors, while my tried-and-true favorite venues continue to hold a special place in my heart. And the couples? Each and every one of you was absolutely amazing!

This gorgeous November wedding at Alturia Farm was no exception. The Bryant wedding was so stunning, it was hard to choose just a few photos to share! Cheers to this wonderful couple 🥂

If you know me, you know I love building relationships. One of the best parts about working in weddings is reconnecting with people from past chapters of my life—whether it’s high school friends, college buddies, or family friends I’ve lost touch with.

I absolutely loved working with Parker and Danielle, especially since Parker is a fraternity brother and former resident of my husband’s. They are both incredibly successful, yet so laid-back and welcoming. The kind of people you just want to grab a beer with and never stop chatting.

Their wedding was absolutely beautiful, and I’m so grateful for the grace and kindness they showed me throughout the process (especially with an unplanned surgery thrown in there). Stay tuned for more stunning photos to come!

Despite a downpour the day before, the skies cleared just in time for the perfect September wedding.

On the absolute hottest day in June, my sweet friends tied the knot (for the second time), and you know what ... it was epic. 🌟✌🏼

Not only did I have the honor of being their planner, but once the room was set, I got to boogie as one of the guests with one of the BEST bands in the game – The Bachelor Boys Band.

The decor and rental team were incredible to work with, making the day even more special. And the Eden Try owners and staff are so great ✨

Huge shoutout to Chelsea and Savannah for stepping in with the heavy lifting as I prepared for surgery and was restricted in activity. None the less, it was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments (and a whole lot of sweat). 🔥🤍

Can we hear it for the flowers!!? 🌸 I mean come on.

From time to time, I have the pleasure of photographing weddings. Photography is a hobby of mine, so I try not do it as a business often 📷 Needless to say, I am still so flattered when couples trust me to capture their big day.

Recently, I ran into a past groom at a coffee shop, and he excitedly showed me his new tattoo of the chapel he and Becca were married in. They got them while abroad on their honeymoon. I swooned!

One of my favorite parts of being in the wedding industry is working with such incredible couples. Becca and Brandon are some of the sweetest. I loved their December wedding, even despite the rain. 🤍☔️

Last fall, I had the pleasure of sitting down with a good friend I met through teaching. Though I've left the classroom, the bonds I've made with colleagues remain strong. We were at my dining room table discussing wedding plans. Her and her fiance had gotten engaged in Paris (I helped Garrett find the photographer, which was so much fun!), and they wanted nuptials that matched their traveling spirit and love for nature and grand gestures. ✨✈️

Lindsay, a proud maximalist, said, "I want to get married at a cute extended stay lodge thing in the desert I found, but I don't know." After some research, I circled back to "why not just that?" and the rest is history. We pulled together a beautiful color palette and dream board, and picked the perfect date. 🌵🏜️

They got married at the JTH in Arizona in March. While I couldn't be there in person, I was there in spirit – texting for updates, checking on the logistics and timeline, and making sure Lindsay was excited. It was a joy to help create their dream wedding from afar. 🤍

Summer is usually my time to recharge and cherish moments with family, hit the beach, and dive into my TBR list. I intentionally take on fewer weddings in the warmer months. I’ve only got two weddings this summer season – both for dear friends – I can't wait to share their photos with you. Until then, let's take a trip down memory lane (no pun intended) to last fall.

I plan weddings from Loudoun County to Richmond and around the Fredericksburg area, but there's a special thrill when a bride invites me to Charlottesville, the wedding industry's “crown jewel”. Brooklyn and Lane’s wedding was a dream come true – their love radiated against the stunning backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

When one our your wedding assistants asks you to coordinate her best friend’s wedding, you absolutely say yes. Thank you Allison for connecting us, and thank you Liz for giving my team such an exciting experience.

Liz & Stuart were married at an intimate ceremony on Friday evening at The Boathouse in Richmond. On Saturday, they started the day with a family and friends run (iykyk) and finished with a backyard reception at Liz’s childhood home. The reception was complete with a taco food truck and a silent disco. Even a little rain couldn’t ruin such a fun weekend!

I met Sean ten or twelve years ago through his high school friends whom became my college and lifelong friends, one of which was MY matron of honor. Shoutout to the Rigual's! Sean and his whole family are some of the best people I know.

Fast forward to a little over a year ago, I met Sean's other half, Danielle. Danielle is just the sweetest! These two together are magic ✨and their wedding day was nothing short of perfect! 🪩🍾

It's a pleasure to help such wonderfully good people have such a wonderfully good day. 🤍
