Dylan + Natalie

Natalie & Dylan started as one of my couples, but over the last two years we’ve all become so close that I have the honor of calling them some of my best friends. Writing their ceremony was especially challenging for me, because of how perfect I wanted each and every word to be for the two of them.

& yes, I cried. I don’t typically, but these two have such a special place in my heart, and we all worked so hard to make their day exactly how they dreamed of it being.

I love you both!

Your first look is a great time to exchange your vows to each other.

Erin & Kyle opted for this option, so we used traditional scripted vows during the ceremony. It's a great way to take the pressure off, while still getting to use your own words!

There's something about the ring exchange that makes me a little...well...sappy. Maybe it's because it's a clear, tangible symbol of the promises a couple makes to each other. Or maybe because it's the final portion of a ceremony before I get to announce to the world "Hell yeah, you're married!"- in a much more professional manner. (But if anyone wants to let me say that at the end of the ceremony- I'm all for it.)

Have you met ?!

Abby officially joined Taylored Vows back in May 2021- but she's been a part of my life since, well, literally forever. On paper, we're cousins, but after spending day in & day out with each other the past few years, she's much more like a sister. Her husband Patrick was a package deal- but we will keep him too!

I feel so lucky every day to have such a badass partner in crime, who makes all things Taylored Vows & life overall so much better. Thanks for all you do, Abby!

Reintroduction time!
I'm Taylor, the face behind "Taylored Vows" (see what I did there?!)

I started this adventure as a side hustle when the pandemic hit, and I'm now lucky enough for this to be my full time job! I get to hangout with the most incredible people all the time, getting them married & making their dream wedding come true. While this is my career, the couples I get to work with often become like family & I'm incredibly grateful for that.

2022 has started off strong, but we are just getting started. Let the chaos coordinating begin!

One piece of advice I always give couples is that your first look is the perfect time to exchange your vows if you don't want to share them in front of all your guests. Your vows are meant for each other, so why not keep it that way?

Kathleen & Ryan shared their vows during their first look, and did traditional scripted vows during the ceremony. The best of both worlds!

Not everyone feels comfortable writing their own vows & sharing them during the ceremony. My favorite tip is to exchange letters, and either read them before walking down the aisle, or during your first look! That way, your photographer can capture the moment on camera (if you'd like them too!).

I have a lot of favorite wedding days, but this one was definitely top 5. Mike & Fon opted for a small elopement on a yacht in St. Michaels. After saying their I Do's, we got to cruise around in perfect weather & take in the views!
