These lil bb pumpkin tartlets are as sweet as can be. Topped with a maple mascarpone whip and crushed praline pecan, this ain’t ya mama’s punkin pie - and that’s the point!
While we typically hire out the dessert table - it’s just not our specialty, and we know so many talented folks around Akron - sometimes we make an exception, and this event, hosted by close family friends, was just that.
These tiny tartlets are pretty, yes, and they’re pretty easy to assemble, too. Start with pumpkin pie - store bought or homemade (we love a classic recipe made from ) - and cut out little rounds from the pies with a biscuit cutter. Top with whatever you prefer, just make sure there’s enough whipped cream for every bite! If you’re serving right away, Redi-whip to the rescue! Otherwise, I recommend a stabilized whipped cream. Making your own flavored whipped cream is so simple, and throwing a lil mascarpone ( all dayyy) in the mix adds depth to the flavor and texture.
