Each year has taught us something new—about our craft, our boundaries, and the importance of protecting our time, our energy, and our peace. We’ve learned who is truly for us and who is not, whether that’s a couple or a vendor. We’ve learned that saying no is sometimes the most powerful way to say yes to what matters most.

We’ve learned to tune out the noise and stay focused on the heart of what we do—our couples. The ones who trust us, believe in us, and allow us to walk beside them on some of the most meaningful days of their lives. That trust is our pride and joy, and it’s something we don’t take lightly. It’s also what has defined these past six years.

Final meeting and preparations are underway for an unforgettable wedding!

Get ready to step into a world where the opulence of the Gilded Age meets the exhilarating spirit of the Kentucky Derby. Next weekend, we will be hosting the very first wedding to be held at the historic Paine Castle in Troy, New York, an unforgettable celebration that marries 19th-century grandeur with the thrill of the races.

Built in 1896 by financier and attorney John Welles Paine, Paine Castle—also known as the John Paine Mansion—stands as a testament to Troy’s affluent past. Once dubbed the “Grandest House in Troy,” this architectural gem has served various roles, from a private residence to a college administrative building, and even a movie set.

Does anyone know of a possible monkey for hire for a wedding in upstate New York on 10.25.25?

To give some context to the monkey … this is a very sentimental aspect for our Bride. Her Father passed away at an early age. Long before she was alive he owned a pet store and a pet monkey.
Having a photo op with a monkey as a greeter for a bourbon tasting (Grooms drink of choice) would pair perfectly 😊

We have contacted several companies and no reply to date Is this something that anyone might be able to assist us with?

Unpopular opinion but If the wedding party (or family) is going to take over and dictate the day, then hiring a planner is a waste of money—for everyone involved. A planner’s job is to execute the couple’s vision efficiently, not to battle with overbearing bridesmaids, moms, or groomsmen who think they’re in charge. If people aren’t willing to trust the expert they hired, they might as well just DIY the whole thing.

Happy 60th Birthday to our fearless, fabulous Mary!

How do we even begin to celebrate someone as legendary as you? From day one, you’ve been more than a mentor—you’ve been our ride-or-die, our sassiest supporter, and the first person we call when things go off the rails (which, let’s be real, happens often). We honestly don’t know if we’d survive this wild journey without you, and frankly, we don’t want to find out.

You’ve been the ultimate ally—not just in words, but in action. You show up, you stand up, and you do it all with that signature wit and a side-eye that could cut glass. The way you love and protect your people is something fierce, and we are so lucky to be among them.

And let’s talk about Glamma mode—August hit the jackpot with you. Watching you love that little guy with all your heart (while still keeping your perfectly manicured foot down) is the best thing ever. You somehow manage to balance being the fun grandma *and* the boss lady who keeps us all in check, and honestly, it’s impressive.

Mary, you are one of a kind. Hilarious, sharp, loyal to the core, and always down for a cocktail and some good gossip. We love you more than words can say, and we couldn’t imagine this adventure without you.

As we head into our annual PPG Retreat weekend to regroup, refocus and prepare our 2025 couples into wedded bliss we wanted to share a few words!

It’s hard to believe that five years ago, Prince Pellman Group was just a dream. Today, it’s a thriving business built on love, passion, and a relentless commitment to making sure our couples feel their absolute best — not only on their wedding day but in every precious moment leading up to it.

We couldn’t have done it without our incredible team, whose dedication and talent drive everything we do.
