A DREAM COME TRUE!!! I woke up this morning & am just truly amazed. THIS REALLY HAPPENED!!!
I sincerely thank my parents for taking this endeavor on, not once but twice. They’re either crazy or really enjoy supporting this community!
I’m over the top excited that my sister, Emma, was able to come from LCU in Lubbock to be with me this weekend. Too bad she has to get back for classes & will miss fair week.
I especially thank my Oma and Opa. As many of you know, they sold tickets in tents for me every single day. They’re amazing in every way.
I also thank every family member, friends who are like family and businesses for helping me along this journey. To have such support has been truly overwhelming.
I also thank the Colanter, Wehmeyer & Antkowiak families. We have all gotten to know each other better & that’s been awesome. We’ve built bonds and memories that I will remember forever.
I thank you all for this opportunity as I have met a ton of people, came out of my shell and together we have raise a lot of money for scholarships!
At kickoff, I said I wanted to make the best better … and I think we have. Thanks again WA Cty!!! You have been SO good to our family! Now, let’s have some FUN this week @ the oldest fair in Texas!!!

The 2024 Washington County Fair Queen Contest Application is now available! 👑 Represent Washington County and gain leadership skills, public speaking skills, lifelong memories and scholarship money!

Any young woman that will be a junior or senior in the Fall of 2024 and resides in Washington County is eligible to apply and participate. Each contestant must be an active member of at least one school organization, such as band, 4-H, FFA, athletics, etc.

Please contact your club/organization or the fair office for an application. Applications are due by May 30, 2024.
