Vilas Pool Park "The Heartbeat of Alstead", Vilas Pool Park was gifted to the town of Alstead by Charles Vilas a long time resident of Alstead. Vilas.

It is run by an advisory board and volunteers. We are always looking for volunteers so please consider stopping by and seeing what we have going on! The recreational location has been a favorite for many generations. It is a great place to spend the day relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. We have a swimming area, picnic areas, paddle boats, kayaking, hiking, horse shoes and a children's

playground. We also have a beautiful Carillon (Bell Tower) also donated to the Town of Alstead by Mr. It is a beautiful place to hold any of your family events such as weddings, family reunions, birthday parties and family bar-b-ques. Thank you to everyone that joined us Saturday August 16, 2025 to celebrate our 100th anniversary. We also want to thank all the businesses and individuals that donated to help us put on this event. This was a magical event ending with an amazing fireworks display.

(Post by Owls Nest Farm Store in Alstead NH) We were extremely excited and honored to attend our first Sponsorship event for the Vila’s Pool 100 year anniversary yesterday. Vila’s Pool in Alstead NH is a registered New Hampshire historic location. An incredibly gift to the town by Charles Vila’s in 1925, featuring a landmark walkway over the breathtaking waterfall, rustic swimming area surrounded by the cascading trees and traditional Swan boats, historic lodge for events, and the remarkable Bell Tower at the top of the hill. A hidden gem in this little town that has provided 100 years of joy, gatherings, swimming lessons, fishing and fun to locals and travelers alike. Highly recommend a visit in your summer and fall travels, it will take you back to a simpler time of quiet and nature’s beauty.

CALL (603) 338-8974 for Shuttle Service 08/16/25. Parking at the Vilas Pool Circle Dr. and the Vilas Pool parking field past the park on 123A may fill up fast so extra parking with shuttle service available will be at Vilas Middle School , Alstead Primary School, and Millot Green.
