As business owners and creatives, one of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is to embrace change and to stay light enough on our feet to pivot with grace when it comes. And through each season, we’ve made sure to capture the becoming.

This journey has been transformative, from young girls in undergrad unsure of our paths to creating a path for ourselves doing the things we love most. We wanted to give you a glimpse into the evolution of our creative process and reintroducing who we are.

Ikebana (or kadō, meaning “the way of flowers”) is the centuries-old Japanese art of floral arrangement, rooted in simplicity, balance, and a deep respect for nature.

While we honor its philosophy, we love giving ikebana a modern twist in our table designs. Instead of intricate compositions, we play with single floral varieties grouped by color, creating bold yet cohesive design.

Baby in Bloom Baby Shower

Inspired by the beauty of an Italian garden, this design focused on two key element: the backdrop and the tablescape.

We hand-painted the backdrop to resemble a limestone wall, and was framed by a lush floral “nest,” creating the illusion of florals blooming. We chose a mix of bear grass, agrostemma, and other textured greenery for a soft, romantic feel.

On the tables, ikebana arrangements took center stage. By keeping the florals consistent with the backdrop, we created a vibrant yet cohesive look, letting each detail shine while balancing garden-inspired textures.

Every choice was intentional, blending structure and organic beauty.
