I hope First Methodist Preschool has a wonderful Meet the Teacher tonight!!! They’ll always have the most special place in my heart, and making their decor was such an honor. ❤️ Those new little babies and their parents don’t even know how blessed they are to have found this place.

Shout out to BB’s Balloons for coming in when I needed her!

A few days ago I had a request for a TCPS arch for pick up today and of all the million shades of blue I currently have, I didn’t have navy. Professional grade balloons aren’t sold locally, and my usual supplier is in Canada, so…I was in a bit of a pickle.

The only place to get professional balloons fast is other professionals, so I sent BB a message and asked her if she had any navy she could loan me. Not only was she happy to help, she even gave me a few extra! Which I was so grateful for, because as I got started I thought “Gee, I wish I had asked for a few more” and then there they were! It’s like she knew what I needed better than I did! Maybe that’s because she’s an absolute Balloon Queen who’s been ballooning for so long…over 5 years…and knows what she’s doing so well she even knew what I was doing! 😆

Thank you dear! How fitting that this school arch was a group project.

I attended Pierce Street School in 1st grade, and I got to return to decorate for their Mardi Gras celebration. I even found my old classroom! I recognized the hallway where I spent hours waiting in line every Friday for my weekly spanking for talking too much and not using my time wisely. Well, I’ve definitely mastered using my time wisely…but I still talk too much. 😆

Parents’ Weekend at the PIKE house at MSU. I am so proud of my little corn niblets and potatoes. ☺️ I felt like I was back in New Orleans with the DZs again. And the PIKE men were so kind. It was a joy working with them.
