In November of 2024, I went to a doctor appointment at eight months pregnant for a routine ultrasound of our son, Griffin. At the appointment, we received the devastating news that his heart had stopped beating. A few days later, we left the hospital with empty arms, broken hearts, and what felt like no hope for the future. Nothing prepares you for that kind of loss. We went from washing his clothes and finalizing his nursery to planning his funeral and picking out his headstone.
As a newly bereaved parent, I was overwhelmed- not just by grief, but by endless decisions, expenses, and to-dos I never expected to face. There were so many things to think about, plan, and pay for, all while trying to process what had happened.
Flowers became a way for me to express my love for my son in a tangible way. They reminded me that even in the hardest seasons, beauty still exists, and life, although different, still has meaning and joy. To me, flowers are a symbol of God’s redemption and hand in the situation. How He brings beauty from ashes and hope from heartbreak.
I started creating floral arrangements because I know how heavy grief can be, and I want to help lighten the load for others walking this road. No expecting or new parent expects to need flowers for their baby’s grave. I want to offer something meaningful, affordable, and lasting- pieces that will withstand the elements and serve as a tribute to the love that never fades.
That’s why I do this. Not just for infants and children who have become angels, but for anyone who wants to honor a loved one with something beautiful and lasting. In addition to these arrangements, I can create decorative floral pieces for the home, including wreaths and custom designs for all occasions. I design pieces using high-quality artificial flowers, ensuring they withstand time and weather. Whether for a grave, a memorial, or just to bring new life to a space in your home, my goal is to provide something affordable and practical, while still being beautiful and high-quality.
Because I understand the financial burden that comes with loss, I plan to offer reduced-price packages specifically for parents who have lost an infant or child. My heart is to make this journey just a little easier for those grieving families, helping them honor their babies in a beautiful way without the added stress.
More than anything, I pray this brings comfort, reminding people that even in our darkest moments, there is still hope. Even when we can’t see it, He is still writing a story of redemption. His plans for us are still good.
This is my heart. This is my why. And this is for my Griffin. More details to come soon 🤍
