I can’t believe it’s already been a couple of weeks since Tulsa Ballet’s Icons & Idols gala! This was my 9th year helping coordinate this event, and let me tell you, it never gets old.

This year was extra special with the Route 66 centennial tie-in. 🛣️ There is nothing I love more than seeing a big, creative vision come to life in our city. My role was all about the coordination (the “keeping everyone sane and on schedule" part!), and working alongside the event chairs and the production wizards at TPC Studios and Integrity Lighting, Audio, Video, Staging made my job a literal dream.

To the Tulsa Ballet: thank you for the trust and the memories. To everyone else: if you need someone who knows exactly how to navigate a gala without losing their cool (or their sense of humor), you know where to find me! 😉✨

Six months of KE Events? Hell yeah! 🥂

I walked away from my “dream job” to build a new one from the ground up, and let me tell you, starting from scratch is equal parts terrifying and deeply rewarding. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart, but these past six months have stretched me and challenged me in all the best ways. ❤

I am beyond proud of what I’ve built in such a short time, and I’m even more excited for what’s ahead. To every client, collaborator, and cheerleader who has been part of this journey so far: thank you for trusting me with your big moments and for being my biggest supporters.

I can’t wait to see what the next six months hold for us! Now, let’s go plan some more magic. 🪄✨

Menu tastings are so much more than “trying the food.” They’re where the event starts to feel real.

This is the moment we confirm presentation, portion sizes, timing, dietary accommodations, and how the menu supports the overall guest experience. Is it elevated enough? Is it efficient for service? Does it fit the flow of the evening?

A tasting allows us to refine details before 200+ guests are in the room. We adjust seasoning, swap sides, confirm plating, and make sure every course aligns with the atmosphere we’re creating.

Because great events aren’t just beautiful, they’re seamless. And the food plays a starring role.

Pro tip: never skip the tasting. Your guests will know the difference. 😉
