One of my favorites year 'round

BROWN SUGAR BANANA BREAD

1/2 cup butter soft
2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
3 teas baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 tea salt
1 table vanilla
1/2 cup walnuts
4 very ripe mashed bananas

Cream well butter and sugar, stir in eggs 1 at a time, beat well stir in banana and vanilla
Sift in dry ingredients, combine, fold in walnuts
grease and flour pans pour into pans sprinkle top with more nuts.
Bake at 350 for about an hour or til toothpick comes out clean
