Once a year, we bring our dining leaders together chefs, managers, and the people who keep everything moving behind the scenes. It’s more than a meeting. It’s a tradition.
For over a decade, this gathering has been a favorite. A chance to hit pause, share a meal, learn something new, and celebrate the moments that made the year special. We talk shop, share innovations and showcase some of the incredible work happening across our company.
And of course, we keep it fun. From cowbells to rubber chickens, there’s always reasons for laughter to go with the learning.

At this year’s annual Continental Dining Awards Gala, we introduced a very special honor: our first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award. And there was no one more deserving than Chef Eric.

Simply, Eric is the heart of our dining team. He’s helped shape what Continental is today through his leadership, his passion, and his unwavering commitment to excellence. He’s also been deeply involved in planning and championing this very awards night, never once expecting to be on the receiving end.

So, when we pulled out the final award of the evening and surprised him… He was speechless. (Which, if you know Eric, that never happens.)

The entire room was on their feet cheering, clapping, and celebrating a man who has given so much to this team. It was a moment none of us will soon forget.

Major congratulations, Chef Eric! This honor is so well deserved and is just a small token of the deep appreciation Continental has for you.
