Had so much fun decorating the annual Swinging in Spring fundraiser for the Duck Woods Country Club Ladies' Tennis Association. Lots of great raffle prizes at the cocktail party Friday, competitive and fun tennis on a beautiful Saturday, and generous donors and participants raising money for the scholarship program.

I am thrilled to be a co-chair for the Inaugural OBX Rum Festival, to benefit one of my favorite local charities, Beach Food Pantry. I hope to see you at Pirate's Cove Pavilion on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
This event is a chance for locals and visitors to celebrate all things uniquely Outer Banks, such as local rum, tasty bites from local restaurants, speakers, entertainment, and a marketplace. Your donation, whether as a sponsor or attendee, funds solutions to feed the most vulnerable among us- children, seniors and families in crisis. What if ending hunger in Dare County could be as simple as raising your glass?

Was honored to chair the Get Pinked and More! Event again this year at Duck Woods Country Club on a beautiful sunny day! Covid restricted the size and depth, so we agreed on a Members Only three hour event on Saturday. We had 29 participants who played tennis and pickleball. We had about 30 great raffle prizes and a 50/50. We raised over $3000 for the Outer Banks Hospital Development Council, which provides free breast and prostate cancer screenings to those in need! Thank you to everyone who donated and participated.

Really enjoyed helping a bride on her wedding day. Her vendor choices were spot on, including The Black Stallion as her venue and for her décor. I was glad I was able to help with last minute requests for linens and a seating chart, as well as lugging and assembling a pop-up tent to and from the 7th tee at the Currituck Club for the string trio. She thanked me for everything and said the wedding was exactly how she'd envisioned it.

It was a pleasure to coordinate the inaugural Get Pinked and More! event to benefit the Outer Banks Hospital. We raised over $2,000 on a beautiful Fall day and had lots of fun on the tennis and pickleball courts. Great raffle prizes including lessons from our tennis and golf pros, a yoga class, a balloon installation by Renee Landry, a Kill Devil Rum basket, a "balls cubed" basket, and various golf, tennis and pickleball accessories and apparel were the highlight. Don't forget to schedule your cancer screenings, guys and gals!

Excited to meet another group coming from Australia next week, and help manage their events with Insider Experience. Highlights include a welcome reception at St. Cloud at the Knickerbocker, a Yankees game, walking tours of the city, a bike tour of Central Park, "Book of Mormon," and delicious dinners.

Working on a proposal for a Polish technology group that's due today before I head out of town for the weekend. Also looking forward to another Australian group coming in April!
