A: Ideally 12–18 months if you need rentals like tents, restrooms, or a caterer. But if you’re going smaller, you can absolutely pull off something beautiful in just a few months ✨.

The key? Prioritize what matters most to you, and start there.

☀️ Backyard weddings are beautiful, but here’s the truth: the #1 thing couples forget is a rain plan 🌧️. Even the sunniest forecast can shift, and having a tent or covered option is the best peace of mind.

✨ My pro tip: book your tent early! Make sure it’s big enough for your guests + dance floor.

The Beardslee Homestead is on the National Register of Historic Places and today, the Greco family continues the legacy with their farm, vineyard, pizzeria, hop house, and Italian agritourism wedding venue 🤍
