Hey everyone 👋 Let’s talk about something important—keeping your cherished memories safe.

We all know how precious wedding photos and films are, so it's a good idea to make sure they’re protected. This could apply to family photos as well, or any digital files you want to keep safe.

The 3-2-1 backup method is simple, effective, and essential. Here’s how it works:

3 Copies: Always have at least three copies of your photos. This means your original files plus two backups.

2 Different Media: Store your backups on two different types of media. For example, use an external hard drive AND cloud storage. Diversify to minimize risks.

1 Offsite Backup: Keep one backup offsite. This means storing a copy in a different physical location, like a cloud service or a friend's house. That way, your memories are safe even if disaster strikes at home.

By following the 3-2-1 method, you can ensure your photos and films are safe and sound, no matter what happens.

As the time comes to ease myself back into working life after being off on maternity leave, I thought it would be a good time to introduce myself to anyone who's new around here.

I'm Morven, a new mum to the best baby girl Amber 🥰 and live in West Lothian. I have been doing wedding videography since 2016, around 8 years 😱 and I always try to make the best film possible with as little fuss as possible.

My husband Neil and I got married in October 2022 at the Cruin on the banks of Loch Lomond so I have a fairly recent perspective on all things wedding!

Our lovely family photo was taken in Orkney by the amazing Kirstin Shearer during our holiday in April when Amber was around 9 weeks old. Our wedding photos were by The Gibsons and we just love to look back at the memories from our special day ❤️

If you're thinking about booking a videographer I'd love to hear from you. I have some availability for last minute weddings and will be taking bookings into 2025/26.
