With anything we do at The Kel² Collective, we want to be honest above all.

We’ve made the hard decision to cancel tonight’s mixer. To be completely honest? The demand wasn’t where we wanted it to be for a full-scale event. In a world of “fake it til you make it,” we’d rather be real with you: We refuse to host a version of our vision that doesn’t make attendees happy.

But we aren’t stopping. This week has been a lesson in listening. We’ve realized that maybe the city doesn’t need another “Singles Mixer”—maybe it needs something more exclusive.

Tonight’s Plan:
The event is off, but the style is very much ON. Kelly and I are still getting gussied up (Kels is getting a shampoo curl at today) and heading to at 7:00 PM.

We’re treating tonight as our Board Meeting but with wine. If you’ve been curious about the Collective or just want to grab a drink with two women who aren’t afraid to pivot, come find us at our Table. We’d love to meet you in person.

Toledo may have a tough crowd, but we’re tougher. See you tonight! 🐆✨

We had a fabulous dinner at this evening talking about the lay of the land for next weekend’s event!! If you haven’t eaten here before, you are missing out. Between the eggplant, mushrooms, and chicken tips, wow. The food is divine!!

How a hair appointment turned into a surprise for YOU:

Story time!

Event planning is a whirlwind. One thing I () always do to mitigate stress the day of our events is book a professional hair appointment. After sending some inspiration photos to the team at , they called to say they hadn’t received them, which turned into the best accident ever!

Striking up a deep conversation with the owner, Chris, I told her about our mission to create intentional, high-vibe third spaces for Toledo’s 30+ crowd. The result?
